Steelers' Chris Boswell sets playoff record with six field goals
Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell converted 6-of-6 field goals in the team's 18-16, Divisional Round win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.
He accounted for all of the Steelers' points, making field goals from 22, 38, 36, 45, 43, and 43 yards out. Those six kicks made set a new playoff record, breaking the five set by Minnesota Vikings kicker Chuck Nelson in 1987-88, and tied most recently by the Denver Broncos' Brandon McManus last year. Boswell was just the seventh kicker in the Super Bowl era to even attempt six kicks in a playoff game.
Boswell added 5.89 Net Expected Points on his six kicks in the Divisional Round, per numberFire Live.
