Larry Fitzgerald coy about return to Cardinals for 2017

When asked if he plans to return for another season, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald said, "I don't know."

What It Means:

"Right now I'm enjoying the offseason, giving my body some time to rest, working on my golf game," said Fitzgerald in an interview with NFL Network. "In a couple weeks I'll figure out what I'm going to do for next year." The 33-year-old seems to be seriously considering retirement, but isn't in any rush to make that decision. Fitzgerald earned his 10th Pro Bowl nod in 2016 while topping 1,000 yards for the eighth time in his career.

Among the 41 wide receivers with at least 100 targets this year, Fitzgerald earned the third-fewest Reception Net Expected Points per target, just above Jeremy Kerley and Tavon Austin.
