Seahawks need consistency from wide receiver Chris Matthews
Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell said wide receiver Chris Matthews needs to improve his consistency as he "disappears" during some training camp practices.
Matthews had a breakout performance in the Super Bowl with four receptions and 109 receiving yards. He is currently slotted as the fourth wide receiver on the Seahawks depth chart.
The Seahawks ranked 15th in our schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points metric last season. We project Matthews to finish the year with an unimpressive 24 receptions, 311 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns. He is currently off the fantasy radar.
