Ryan Tannehill (knee) gets in limited practice for Dolphins
Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee) practiced on a limited basis on Friday.
Tannehill continues to progress and could potentially be available in the second round of the playoffs if the Dolphins are able to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round. He's already been ruled out for Sunday, meaning Matt Moore will be making the first playoff start of his career.
On 88 drop backs this year, Moore has posted 0.33 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back. It's an admittedly small sample size, but still greatly exceeds Tannehill's 0.09 Passing NEP per drop back. The Steelers ranked 21st in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP allowed per play this season.
