Giants likely to start Paul Perkins in Wild Card Round
There is a "good chance" New York Giants running back Paul Perkins is the starter Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, ESPN reporter Jordan Raanan believes.
Perkins got the start in Week 17 against Washington, and piled up 102 yards on 21 carries. Rashad Jennings produced just 52 yards on 18 carries and has been trending in the wrong direction for weeks. Perkins is averaging 4.1 yards per carry since the Week 8 bye.
Our models currently project a split in roles between Perkins and Jennings, at RB8 and RB9 in fantasy projections respectively. We peg Perkins for 14 touches for 63 yards from scrimmage and 0.21 touchdowns.
