Jared Goff believes Rams can learn from struggles
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff said he believes "you can learn from the bad things."
Goff would know after experiencing a 1-11 season his first year at Cal before helping turn the program around. "We changed the culture in the building," Goff said of his freshman season. "Then we won in the coming years with the same guys that were 1-11 the year before, and that's kind of what I expect to happen here, as well." Goff's optimism is admirable and perhaps required after a dreadful rookie campaign, but things are unlikely to get much better for the young quarterback in the near future.
Among the 39 quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs in 2016, Goff's -0.28 Passing Net Expected Points per drop back ranked dead last.
