Titans' DeMarco Murray (foot) expects to avoid surgery
Tennessee Titans running back DeMarco Murray (foot) expects to avoid surgery, but hasn't ruled it out.
Murray expects rest to do the trick for his "torn plantar plate," but couldn't completely rule out going under the knife. Murray didn't miss any games, but wasn't the same after his mid-season toe/foot issue. Murray has dealt with foot problems in the past. He turns 29 next month.
Murray posted 0.02 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt this year on 293 totes, which ranks 15th among the 42 running backs to carry the ball at least 100 times.
