Bills' Sammy Watkins is hoping to avoid another foot surgery
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins said he is "leaning" against having another surgery on his troublesome left foot.
"As of right now, no," Watkins said when asked about surgery. "They'll basically give me the outline on my offseason, whether I should get surgery or not. I'm leaning towards not." Watkins was limited to eight games by his recurring foot issues this season. It would be great for Watkins to finally get in a healthy offseason, but he should be focused on getting in the best position to play a full 16 games next season.
Watkins' Reception Net Expected Points per target is 30th-best among the 92 receivers with 50 targets in 2016.
