Jets' Darrelle Revis willing to move to safety
New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis said he is willing to move to safety if it helps "the team win games."
"This offseason, there will be a lot of thinking what my future is and what I can do to best help the team win games," Revis said. "If that means changing my position to help the team win games, that's fine." Revis is not going to be back with the Jets at his current $15.3 million cap hit, but perhaps the two sides can work out a contract restructure to keep the future Hall of Famer in town. Only 31, Revis could potentially extend his career several years with a switch to safety.
The Jets' secondary ranked third-worst this season in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play.
