Jets without both Bilal Powell and Matt Forte for Thursday's practice
New York Jets running backs Bilal Powell (knee) and Matt Forte (knee, shoulder) did not participate in Thursday's practice.
Forte has only managed to record 7 carries since Week 13 and missed the Jets' Week 16 games, and it's looking like his season is likely over. If Powell doesn't suit up this week, in what is ultimately a meaningless game for the Jets, look for rookie Brandon Wilds to be the team's lead back on Sunday.
Wilds is available for minimum-salary on FanDuel and will be taking on a Bills defense that ranks only 27th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points per play, making him an interesting, albeit risky, punt play in large-field tournaments if both Powell and Forte sit.
