Giants concerned about Janoris Jenkins (internal)
Appearing on Football Night in America, PFT's Mike Florio reports Giants CB Janoris Jenkins' "back is fine," but the team is "concerned about his internal organs."
We would assume that might mean a kidney issue. Jenkins took a knee to the back from a teammate in the first half of Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions and never returned to the field. Jenkins will undergo a battery of tests, and they should have an update on Monday.
Despite Jenkins' absence, the Giants' secondary allowed just 3.15 Net Expected Points on 39 passing attempts in Week 15, per numberFire Live.
