Vontaze Burfict exits Bengals' game with possible concussion
Cincinnati Bengals weak-side linebacker Vontaze Burfict exited Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a possible concussion.
What It Means:
Burfict took a shot to the back of the head by offensive lineman David DeCastro in the second quarter. He was clearly disoriented as he tried to get up after the hit and had to be escorted off the field. He went to the locker room to be evaluated. Burfict had been all over the field before the injury.
Heading into the half, the Bengals defense held the Steelers' run game to -0.25 Net Expected Points on 7 attempts, per numberFire Live.
