Darren McFadden

Cowboys' Darren McFadden should be active for Week 15

Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden will be active for Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to the Dallas Morning News' Brandon George.

What It Means:

George believes McFadden may take Alfred Morris' spot on the gameday roster behind Ezekiel Elliott. That would mean Morris not even being active for the game. While McFadden's activation wouldn't threaten Elliott's workload, it's notable for forward-thinking purposes.

In 2015, McFadden had a -0.02 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per attempt on 239 carries. That was good for 19th among the 44 running backs with at least 100 carries last year. Morris's -0.08 ranks 36th among the same.
