Lions' Matthew Stafford (finger) doesn't anticipate change in game plan
Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (finger) does not expect the Lions' offensive strategy to change because of his injury.
Stafford says offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter didn't make adjustments last week after the quarterback dislocated the middle finger on his throwing hand. "I said 'Just call the game. Don't worry about me. I'll figure it out,'" Stafford said. "So plan on being the same way, you know, this week." There's no doubt about his availability this week, but questions remain on how effective Stafford will be against the New York Giants. He's shaping up as a QB2 for Week 15.
Our models currently project Stafford to complete 23 passes for 266 yards in Week 15, with 1.74 touchdowns and 0.70 interceptions.
