Jimmy Smith (ankle) does not practice for Ravens Wednesday
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith (ankle) didn't practice on Wednesday.
Smith left Monday night's game against the New England Patriots and did not return. The Ravens really felt his absence, particularly late in the game when wide receiver Chris Hogan broke loose for a 79-yard touchdown that sealed the win for New England. It would be an upgrade to the Philadelphia Eagles' receiving corps if he sits this week, though the Eagles' only productive receiver -- Jordan Matthews -- works in the slot almost exclusively.
The Ravens' pass defense ranks 11th in the league in terms of schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play.
