Packers' Eddie Lacy (ankle, IR) plans to do conditioning regimen this offseason

Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy (ankle, I.R.) said he plans to do a P90X regimen again this offseason.

What It Means:

Lacy remains in a walking boot and needs a scooter to get around nearly two months after undergoing major surgery. He's fully expected to be ready for the start of next season, however. It's unclear what team he will be playing for, as Lacy is set to be a free agent in March. ESPN reporter Rob Demovsky wonders if general manager Ted Thompson could sign Lacy to a bargain deal.

Among the 61 running backs with at least 50 rushing attempts through Week 14, Lacy's 0.08 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt ranks eighth.
