Indianapolis Colts defensive back Patrick Robinson was placed on injured reserve with a groin injury, ending his season.
Robinson has been limited to seven games this season, his last appearance coming in Week 12. The Colts are already working with next-to-nothing in their secondary, but this rules out any chance of a return for the 29-year-old corner.
Indianapolis has the third-worst pass defense in the league, based on schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points allowed per play.
