Broncos could work Juwan Thompson into rotation with Devontae Booker
The Denver Broncos should downsize running back Devontae Booker's usage by incorporating Juwan Thompson more, 9 News Denver's Mike Klis suggested.
What It Means:
Thompson is a fullback and short-yardage specialist. The Broncos downsized Booker's role significantly in Sunday's loss, essentially playing him behind Justin Forsett. Klis suggests Booker is wearing down after recovering from two offseason surgeries, and is running out of stamina. Forsett will probably be the favorite to lead Denver's backfield in Week 15 touches.
Forsett earned -6.29 Net Expected Points (NEP) on 6 rushing attempts in Week 14, while Booker earned -2.46 NEP on 3 attempts, per numberFire Live.
