Lions don't believe Dwayne Washington's injury is serious
Detroit Lions running back Dwayne Washington's ankle injury is not serious, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Specifically, it's "not too serious." It's good news, but the Lions still covered their bases Tuesday by signing Joique Bell. Perhaps he's avoided a high-ankle sprain, but Washington is looking mighty questionable for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. If Washington sits, Zach Zenner should be the Lions' primary option between the tackles.
We project Washington for 36 total yards and 0.07 touchdowns on 9 touches this week. He's outside our top-50 running backs for fantasy football in Week 14.
