Earl Thomas (broken leg) expected to return to Seahawks next season
Seattle Seahawks defensive back Earl Thomas (broken leg, injured reserve) will "be okay" and "just needs time," according to people close to the player, via ESPN's Josina Anderson.
Thomas mentioned the possibility of retirement in a tweet Sunday night after breaking his leg, but according to Adam Schefter, the Seahawks believe his emotions got the best of him in the moment. It would be pretty startling if Thomas isn't back next season.
Seattle ranks seventh in the NFL in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points allowed per play this season.
