Jeremy Maclin (groin) has chance to return for Chiefs Thursday night
The Kansas City Chiefs are "optimistic" wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (groin) will return from his four-game absence on Thursday Night Football, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Head coach Andy Reid claimed he was unsure earlier on Monday, but this leads us to believe Maclin will be back in action on Thursday when the Chiefs take on the Oakland Raiders. Travis Kelce has emerged as the primary option in Kansas City's passing attack sans Maclin, but his upside could be dinged slightly. Tyreek Hill may see less touches. Maclin isn't someone you want to rely on in the fantasy playoffs.
Entering Week 13, Maclin ranked 61st in Reception Net Expected Points per target among the 72 wide receivers with at least 50 targets through Week 12.
