Eagles have interest in impending Washington free agent DeSean Jackson
The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to "make a strong push" to sign Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson as a free agent this offseason, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Jackson spent his first six years in Philadelphia before ex-coach Chip Kelly cut him over off-field concerns. Per Schefter, Doug Pederson is a "big admirer" of Jackson and "multiple teams" believe he'll return with Kelly gone. Jackson has had multiple injures in two of his last three seasons in Washington, but is still one of the top deep threats in the league.
Jackson's Reception Net Expected Points per target rate ranks 44th among the 72 wideouts with at least 50 targets going into Week 13.
