Broncos announce Paxton Lynch as Week 13 starter
The Denver Broncos will start rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch in Week 13.
The talented Jacksonville Jaguars pass defense has been tough on quarterbacks this season, allowing just one opposing signal caller to top 280 yards against them on the year. Lynch struggled against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5, managing 223 yards on 35 attempts with one touchdown and one interception.
On 66 drop backs this year, Lynch has earned 0.13 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back. This is just a bit better than season-long starter Trevor Siemian, whose value created comes in at 0.10 Passing NEP per drop back.
