John Brown still has sickle-cell issues, according to Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown is still experiencing leg problems related to his sickle-cell trait, head coach Bruce Arians revealed in a radio interview.

What It Means:

"We got him going to a bunch of specialists today," said Arians. Brown missed time earlier this season with sickle-cell-related problems and left Sunday's loss to Atlanta with a similar issue. "That’s the one that’s so baffling," Arians said. "It’s not really a pull. Whatever the blood issue he has, the legs tighten up." It is concerning that doctors have not yet figured out how to manage Brown's complication.

Our models don't factor Brown in heavily for the Cardinals in Week 13, projecting him for 22 receiving yards and 0.11 touchdowns on 2 receptions. He's outside the top-75 receivers for fantasy purposes.
