Packers have serious concerns about Clay Matthews' (shoulder) health
The Green Bay Packers are concerned about linebacker Clay Matthews' shoulder injury, head coach Mike McCarthy admitted Tuesday.
What It Means:
Matthews played through the issue on Monday, but had the benefit of adrenaline. Now he has just five days to get ready for the Houston Texans. Notoriously cautious with injuries, the Pack will take things slow with Matthews in practice. There's a fair chance he sits in Week 13.
Green Bay sits 24th in schedule-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play heading into Week 13.
