Cowboys not planning to limit Ezekiel Elliott's workload
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will not have his workload limited this season, according to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Elliott is averaging 22.1 carries per game, putting him on pace for a shade under 354 for his rookie season. That would be the fifth-most rush attempts for a running back in the last 10 seasons, as well as the most for a rookie since 1999.
Elliott is also having an incredibly efficient season, and his 0.10 Rushing Net Expected Points per carry rank fourth among the 52 backs with at least 50 carries on the year.
