Gary Barnidge tweaked knee in Browns' Week 12 game

Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge's snaps were scaled back in Sunday's Week 12 loss to the New York Giants because he "tweaked" his knee, head coach Hue Jackson revealed Monday.

What It Means:

Jackson said the Browns "rotated" Barnidge and "didn't want to overwork him" after Barnidge tweaked the knee early in the game. After running a season-high 45 pass routes in Week 11, Barnidge ran only 31 last week. His knee should heal during the Browns' forthcoming Week 13 bye.

Barnidge caught one of three targets for 1.17 Net Expected Points in Week 12, per numberFire Live.
