Bears claim Jay Cutler (shoulder) is day-to-day
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler (shoulder) is day-to-day, according to head coach John Fox.
"It's not season-ending, contrary to the reports you hear," Fox stated. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Cutler tore the labrum in his throwing shoulder, which would end his season. The Bears haven't confirmed what the injury is, nor would Fox rule him out for Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans, but Cutler is extremely doubtful. Matt Barkley is the backup.
Cutler ranks 34th out of the 35 quarterbacks with at least 100 dropbacks this season, in regards to Passing Net Expected Points per play.
