Jerick McKinnon emerges as leader in Vikings' backfield again
Minnesota Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon played 31-of-58 (53 percent) snaps against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11.
What It Means:
McKinnon finished with 31 snaps on Sunday, while Matt Asiata saw 21. Ronnie Hillman was a distant third in the Vikings' backfield, seeing only six plays. The issue is McKinnon still only managed 44 yards on 16 carries. He's no better than a RB3 in an abysmal Minnesota rushing attack.
McKinnon's -3.63 Rushing Net Expected Points in Week 11 were less than both Asiata and Hillman, per numberFire Live.
