Panthers' Luke Kuechly is in league's concussion protocol
Carolina Panthers middle linebacker Luke Kuechly is officially in the league's concussion protocol.
Head coach Ron Rivera confirmed Friday that a concussion is the "only" injury Kuechly suffered Thursday night, though it's important not to make light of the situation. Kuechly was short of breath and hyperventilating as he was carted off the field. He'll have 10 days to get ready for Week 12, though it's no given he'll be ready considering the concussion issues Kuechly has had in the past.
The Panthers' defense allowed just 0.91 Net Expected Points on 25 rushing attempts to the New Orleans Saints in Week 11, per numberFire Live.
