Cam Newton fails to crack 200 yards, Panthers top Saints anyway
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton had 192 yards and a touchdown on 14-of-23 passing, while rushing for only seven yards on five carries as the Panthers beat the New Orleans Saints 23-20.
This was Newton's third time failing to top 200 passing yards in nine games this season, while he also posted his second-lowest rushing total of the year.
Newton did not have an overly efficient game either, only managing 0.47 Passing Net Expected Points, per numberFire Live.
