Vikings' Adrian Peterson (knee) has resumed light running
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has resumed "light running", per Profootballtalk.
Peterson, who was placed on the injured reserve after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus, is eligible to be activated this week, but is obviously still not ready to go. Head coach Mike Zimmer has expressed some hope that Peterson will be ready to go in December.
Peterson had a brutal start to the season, and his -0.29 Rushing Net Expected Points per carry are the second-worst mark among the 65 running backs to tally at least 30 carries on the year.
