Browns intend to re-commit to the run with Isaiah Crowell
Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson indicated he'd like to get back to running the ball more with running back Isaiah Crowell.
Crowell was an early-season darling, piling up 394 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 61 carries in the first four games of the year. Since Week 5, Crowell is averaging just 10 carries per game and has topped 29 yards once. "My fault," Jackson said. "We have not rushed the ball. I have to put him in better situations."
Among the 55 running backs with at least 40 carries through Week 10, Crowell's 0.01 Rushing Net Expected Points per carry ranks 21st.
