Healthy scratches may be the new norm for Washington's Matt Jones
Washington Redskins running back Matt Jones may continue to be a healthy scratch, according to head coach Jay Gruden.
"We're not giving up on Matt," Gruden said. "But when you can only dress three running backs, the third one we would like to have some impact on special teams." Gruden added that Jones' availability will be determined on a game-by-game basis. It doesn't matter, because he shouldn't be on your fantasy rosters at this point. Rob Kelley should be owned everywhere.
Jones is averaging -0.03 Rushing Net Expected Points per play, third in his own backfield behind both Kelley and Chris Thompson.
