Chargers' Brandon Mebane tears biceps, done for season
San Diego Chargers defensive lineman Brandon Mebane has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after being diagnosed with torn biceps.
"That's a big loss," acknowledged head coach Mike McCoy, whose team always seems to be plagued by injuries. Mebane was signed to a three-year, $13.5 million deal last March.
The Chargers allowed Ryan Tannehill to turn in arguably the best game of his career in a brutal 31-24 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 10, as he compiled 13.71 Net Expected Points on 24 passing attempts.
