Cowboys still not giving up on suspended Randy Gregory
The Dallas Cowboys are not "giving up" on suspended defensive end Randy Gregory, owner Jerry Jones said.
What It Means:
Yet to play this season because of multiple suspensions, Gregory is facing a year-long ban after failing yet another drug test. "I am not giving up on Randy Gregory for the Cowboys and certainly not giving up on him as a person in life," Jones said. "Not that it makes any difference that I do, but I do not dismiss him from our future." Jones' stance is commendable, but it is looking increasingly unlikely Gregory will make an impact in the NFL.
Coming into Week 10, the Cowboys' defense ranked 16th in schedule-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play.
