49ers' Carlos Hyde (shoulder) hopeful ahead of Week 10 matchup

San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde (shoulder) sounded optimistic about his odds of returning for Week 10 while speaking on Friday.

What It Means:

"Things are going in a good direction," Hyde said. He hasn't played since Week 6, nor been involved in any contact drills at practice. Head coach Chip Kelly said a decision will be made on Hyde's status by Saturday. DuJuan Harris' Week 10 fantasy worth hangs in the balance.

If he does play, our models currently have Hyde projected for 67 rushing yards and 0.58 touchdowns on 16 carries versus the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10. Arizona ranks 10th in the league this season in Adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points allowed per play.
