No indications that Giants' Shane Vereen (triceps) is close to return
The New York Giants have "no indications" that running back Shane Vereen (triceps, I.R.) is close to a return, NJ Advance Media's Dan Duggan reports.
Vereen is eligible to start practicing this week and could return to game action as soon as Week 12. It doesn't seem like he's close to either. "Haven't had those conversations yet," head coach Ben McAdoo said. Vereen is trying to come back from a torn triceps, which is typically a season-ending injury.
Vereen has earned -0.95 Rushing Net Expected Points on 31 rushing attempts this year.
