Jets' Sheldon Richardson carried first-round price tag for Dallas
The New York Jets wanted a first-round pick for defensive end Sheldon Richardson in trade talks with the Dallas Cowboys, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
It's not exactly surprising. Richardson is a recent first-rounder with monstrous upside. It's also not surprising that the Cowboys said no, since Richardson is an off-the-field headache and is under team control through only 2017.
The Cowboys' defense ranks 16th in schedule-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play going into Week 10.
