Chiefs optimistic Spencer Ware (concussion) will play Week 10
Kansas City Chiefs running back Spencer Ware (concussion) has a "good chance" to be ready for Sunday's matchup against the Carolina Panthers, head coach Andy Reid said.
Ware remains in the league's concussion protocol, so he'll return once he's cleared. Charcandrick West only managed 39 yards on 13 carries during a Week 9 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he's in line to get another start if Ware can't play.
Among the 38 running backs with at least 60 carries this season, Ware ranks 33rd in Rushing Net Expected Points per play.
