Antone Smith's (knee) season over in Tampa Bay
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Antone Smith (knee) is done for the year.
Season-ending injuries are common for Smith, who has never played a full 16-game campaign. He will finish 2016 with 18 total games played over the past three seasons. Smith joins a crowded injury ward in Tampa Bay's backfield that already includes Doug Martin (hamstring), Jacquizz Rodgers (foot) and Charles Sims (knee). Peyton Barber and Mike James are what's left in terms of healthy running backs.
Smith finished with -3.56 Rushing Net Expected Points on five carries Thursday night in a loss to the Atlanta Falcons, per numberFire Live.
