Chiefs officially rule out Spencer Ware (concussion)
Kansas City Chiefs running back Spencer Ware (concussion) is out for Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Ware was never on track to play on Sunday after missing practice all week, and his status is uncertain moving forward. Charcandrick West will carry the load and makes for a great play in Week 9. Bishop Sankey was added this week as the only other healthy body, so he may see a few touches.
numberFire ranks West as the 14th-best running back option on FanDuel in Week 9. We project him to rush 14 times for 51 yards and 0.41 touchdowns while adding another 3 catches for 21 yards and 0.17 touchdowns through the air.
