Carlos Hyde's Week 9 status still uncertain for San Francisco

San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde (shoulder) once against practiced with a non-contact jersey on, and head coach Chip Kelly said that Hyde's status for Week 9 is still uncertain.

What It Means:

Hyde has practiced in the non-contact jersey all week, and if he can't play on Sunday then Mike Davis would step up as the team's lead back in a great matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Our models currently account for Hyde playing, and rank him as the eighth-best running back option on FanDuel for Week 9. We project him to rush 19 times for 87 yards and 0.50 touchdowns, while also adding a pair of catches for nine yards in the air.
