Steelers' Ladarius Green unlikely to be ready by Sunday
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Ladarius Green (ankle, PUP) has "little chance" to play Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens, believes Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Green practiced with the Steelers for the first time last week, but he's likely going to need a couple weeks to round into shape before being thrown into the fire. The 26-year-old tight end will probably be limited once he does start playing, so he's still not a recommended stash in standard leagues.
Suspension and injury have caused a bevy of missed games for various offensive playmakers in Pittsburgh this season, but they still rank 12th in Adjusted Passing Net Expected Points per play.
