Jets eager to find deal for Sheldon Richardson
New York Jets defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson is being "actively shopp[ed]" ahead of Tuesday afternoon's trade deadline, Profootballtalk reports.
What It Means:
The trade deadline is at 4:00 PM Eastern. ESPN Dallas reported the Jets contacted the Dallas Cowboys about a potential deal. Deadline deals are far and few between, but the Jets seem to be keen on moving Richardson.
The Jets rank 23rd overall in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play.
