Mike Gillislee

Bills will ride hot hand with running backs Sunday

The Buffalo Bills will use a "rotation" at running back and "ride the hot hand" against the New England Patriots, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.

What It Means:

In other words, they aren't committed to Mike Gillislee as the bellcow. Rookie Jonathan Williams is a talented inside runner with some passing-game chops, and the Bills will almost certainly work in Reggie Bush. We expect Gillislee to lead Buffalo's backfield in Week 8 playing time and touches, but he can't be viewed as a safe fantasy investment.

Gillislee is the top backfield option from Buffalo this week by our models, as we project him for 57 rushing yards and 0.28 touchdowns on 12 rushing attempts, as well as 20 receiving yards on 2 receptions.
