Lions rule out Darius Slay for Week 8
Detroit Lions cornerback Darius Slay (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 8.
Slay might be out for several weeks with this hamstring strain and with his absence, Johnson Bademosi will start opposite Nevin Lawson. This should give a boost to the Texans' passing game heading into Week 8 against an already poor Detroit secondary.
Slay's injury hurts an already vulnerable defense. The Lions' are ranked last in the league in Pass Defense Net Expected Points.
