Ravens expect improvement for Breshad Perriman

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman needs to begin advancing more quickly, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

What It Means:

"I told him, 'I just am impatient. You have all this talent, and there is a lot to learn, but I just want to speed the curve up,'" Harbaugh said after Perriman had a rough game Sunday. "Obviously, he said that he could not agree more. We just have to keep chasing it. It is going to happen, and let's try to make it happen sooner rather than later." Playing about 40 weekly snaps, Perriman hasn't shown much after missing his entire rookie season, catching no more than three passes in a game and failing to find the end zone.

Among the 74 wide receivers with at least 30 targets through Week 7, Perriman's 0.37 Reception Net Expected Points per target ranks 70th.
