Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger (meniscus surgery) aiming to return next week
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (meniscus surgery) hopes to practice next week.
"I'm taking it day to day, but my goal is to practice next week," Roethlisberger said. The Steelers are "cautiously optimistic" he returns in Week 9, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports. Roethlisberger resumed throwing on Tuesday, but the Steelers are on bye this week.
Roethlisberger ranks seventh in Passing Net Expected Points per play among all quarterbacks with at least 100 dropbacks this season.
