Case Keenum remains Rams' starter through bye week
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Case Keenum will continue as the team's starter through the bye week, head coach Jeff Fisher reiterated on Monday.
"I’ve not changed my mindset whatsoever with respect to Case and Jared [Goff]," Fisher said. "Jared’s going to be our starter, but we’re just going to continue with Case." Goff is getting some reps with the first-team offense this week and should supplant Keenum as the starter sometime in November.
Among the 32 quarterbacks with at least 100 passes this season, Keenum ranks ahead of only Brock Osweiler and Blaine Gabbert in Passing Net Expected Points per play.
